She loves country music, football, reading (mostly mysteries) and having fun. Oddly, she prefers TV to movies; and finally, she thinks BAP and SAS are really great organizations and loves being involved with both the students and the professionals!
Lindsey McCann grew up in Tampa, FL. She was accepted into the honors program at Florida State University, but after two years she transferred to UCF. She loves UCF and is extremely happy that she relocated here. It took her a while to discover accounting but now she is overjoyed to have discovered a field of study and profession that she truly enjoys. While on the path that lead her to accounting, she worked for several years in hospitality, and she occasionally misses the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant. She satisfies this nostalgia by eating out more than she probably should.
Lindsey recently finished her undergraduate accounting degree with a 4.0 in her major, she hopes to continue this trend in the MST program. In rare moments of spare time she likes to play video games, and watch EPL soccer. Lindsey is a season ticket holder with the Orlando City Soccer Club--Orlando's very own professional soccer team and rookie season league champions. She supports Arsenal in the EPL and looks forward to rooting for the USA in the World Cup every time it comes around. She also has an amazing husband, two cats, and the world's most adorable dog.
