BAP Academic Eligibility
General Info

As an Honors Accounting Organization, adequate academic performance is prerequisite for entrance. However, in addition to strong academic achievement you must also show your dedication through a single-semester candidate process where you will be expected to actively participate in Beta Alpha Psi by attending required events and devoting a pre-determined amount of time to specified Professional, Service, and Social activities.

Undergraduate
  • Be declared an accounting, or finance major and have completed Principles of Financial Accounting (ACG 2021) & Principals of Managerial Accounting (ACG 2071)

  • Have at least one academic semester remaining at UCF after the semester of initiation (Summer semester does not count)


Overall GPA requirements (must meet at least one of the following):

  • Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA in all courses
  • Have a 3.25 GPA in the last 60 hours
  • Have a 3.5 GPA in the last 30 hours


Accounting GPA requirements (must meet at least one of the following):

  • Have a cumulative 3.5 GPA in Principles of Financial & Managerial Accounting (ACG2021 & 2071)
  • Have a 3.2 GPA in all upper-level (3000-level and above) accounting, or finance courses (based on your declared major)
Graduate
  • Elected accounting, finance, or information systems as his/her area of concentration and be currently enrolled in a graduate program
  • Have at least one academic semester remaining at UCF after the semester of initiation (Summer semester does not count)
